Billing
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all debit/credit cards. All payments are processed by Stripe. We can also accept Direct Debit and PayPal if the first two options are not suitable for you. We do not accept standing orders or direct bank transfers.
When will I be billed?
To ensure uninterrupted service, we use pro-rata billing for all services. This means you’ll only be charged for the portion of the month you use the service. Domain names are an exception, as they are billed 30 days before their expiry date to guarantee renewal.
How quickly will my purchase be processed?
Once you’ve signed up to your new service, it will automatically create within a few minutes, and your welcome email will be sent to you with your login details once completed.
How Do I Change My Payment Card Details?
When you log in to your client account, click on the billing menu item and then select payment methods. From there, you will be able to update your payment card details.
How does billing work with VPS hosting?
Your VPS hosting service will renew automatically on the same day each month, 7 days prior to your initial signup date. Payment for the upcoming billing period must be made in full within 7 days of the renewal date. Failure to submit payment within this period will result in automatic deletion of your VPS hosting service. Please note that payments for VPS servers are non-refundable, regardless of the circumstances.
If payment is not received within 7 days of the renewal date, your VPS hosting service will be automatically deleted. This action will lead to the permanent removal of all data associated with your VPS, and the Company holds no liability for any data loss resulting from such deletion.
It is your responsibility to ensure there is an active and valid payment method on file at all times to prevent service interruption or deletion. Additionally, please keep your contact information up-to-date, including email address, phone number, and billing address. Failure to maintain accurate contact details may result in missed notifications concerning billing and service issues.
Maintenance Services
What is not included in the service?
Anything that would be reasonably considered outside the scope of “regular maintenance” is not covered by our service. This includes web design, content creation, content updates, layout changes, and custom development. These requirements can, however, be requested on an ad-hoc basis and will be billed by the hour.
How often will my website be updated?
We monitor for new software update releases daily, however, we may sometimes limit updates to once per week depending on the type of update required. All big updates are thoroughly tested before being applied to websites.
How often will my website be backed up?
We automatically take a backup of your site twice a day every day and you can also request backups on-demand.
Web Hosting
Does web hosting include email?
Yes, all hosting plans include email.
What is the difference between economy and cloud hosting?
For small websites with minimal traffic and resource needs, economy hosting offers a cost-effective solution. Cloud hosting, on the other hand, caters to more demanding websites with significant traffic and resource requirements.
Domain Names
How do I transfer my domain name to Website Helper?
If you would like to transfer your domain to Website Helper, please contact us for further details.
Will I receive domain renewal reminders?
Yes, we will notify you 30 days before the renewal date, giving you enough time to decide if you would like to renew your domain or let it expire.
What happens when domains are left to expire?
When a domain has expired, after a certain period of time, it will become available to the public for registration again.
Do I need a domain privacy service?
Domain privacy services used to hide your contact information from public WHOIS searches. However, regulations like GDPR now make this the default, so these extra privacy services are generally unnecessary.
